Printec at ZBK Conference 2026 in Bratislava: The future of self-service is now

The future of self-service is no longer a vision on the horizon. It is unfolding right now. 

That was the central message of the ZBK Conference 2026, organized by Združenie pre bankové karty and held on February 26 at the Crowne Plaza Bratislava. Bringing together more than 80 industry professionals and 8 expert presentations, the conference focused on one defining theme: “The Future of Self-Service in the World of Digital Payments.”

For Printec Group, this was not just a topic of discussio,  it was something we brought to life.

These were not static displays. They were working ecosystems. Real transactions. Real interaction. Real conversations.

The strong interest and engaging discussions throughout the morning confirmed one thing: organizations are actively seeking practical, scalable self-service solutions today — not someday.

From Kiosks to ATMs: A Converging Future

The inspiration continued on stage.

During his presentation, “From Kiosks to ATMs: The Future of Self-Service in Digital Payments,” Ivan Moderdovsky, General Manager CE at Printec Group, explored how traditional boundaries between kiosks and ATMs are disappearing.

Self-service devices are evolving into:

  • Interactive financial hubs
  • Omnichannel customer touchpoints
  • Intelligent platforms connected to the broader digital ecosystem

To enrich the discussion, Ivan welcomed Michail Kyriakidis from NCR Corporation to join him on stage, highlighting the importance of collaboration in shaping the next generation of banking and payment solutions.
