We're excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Nexi Greece Nexi Greece {part of the Nexi Group, the European PayTech company},  and MC-Chargers, an innovative Greek manufacturer to introduce Greece's first EV charger with integrated POS functionality. This innovative solution allows EV drivers to make direct card payments at the charging point, simplifying the entire process by eliminating the need for apps or third-party providers.

With this new system, payments are easier and faster than ever before. Once you begin charging, a pre-authorisation is made, and the final transaction is completed automatically when the charging is done. It’s a seamless experience designed to benefit both users and EV charging providers by cutting down on processing costs and improving convenience.

What makes this project truly special is that it's a collaboration between three leading Greek companies, showing that local innovation is paving the way for global solutions. This first pilot installation is happening right now in Thessaloniki, providing essential infrastructure to boost electric mobility in Greece.

Since 1988, we've been focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions, and this partnership with MC-Chargers and Nexi Greece is another step toward making life easier for users and providing real value to our partners. The ability to pay directly at the charger without the need for apps or intermediaries is a growing trend across Europe, and we’re proud to be at the forefront in Greece.

The first pilot installation is currently taking place in Thessaloniki, providing the city with the necessary infrastructure and promoting the growth of electric mobility in Greece. As electric mobility continues to grow, we’re committed to driving sustainable solutions that are both easy to use and secure.
