Insights from Let’s do eCommerce 2025 Conference in Sarajevo by the Association for Internet Commerce "eComm"

On April 17th, Sarajevo once again became the center of digital transformation in the region, as more than 500 participants and 25 speakers gathered at Hotel Hills for the Let’s do eCommerce 2025 conference. Organized by the Association for Internet Commerce “eComm,” this event brought together decision-makers, innovators, and tech enablers from across eCommerce, fintech, AI, logistics, and retail—with a clear mission: to lead the innovation.

For the second consecutive year, we are honored to join as a bronze partner, contributing insights, technology, and thought leadership to help shape the future of commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Showcasting OrderExpress: The future of seamless retail

One of the highlights of our presence was showcasing in our booth OrderExpress, our new self-ordering kiosk solution. This marked the second public presentation of OrderExpress—first at EuroCIS in February, and now at Let’s do eCommerce 2025.

The solution drew strong interest, with many visitors stopping by our booth specifically to explore its capabilities. Designed to bridge the gap between online and offline shopping, OrderExpress offers a seamless, self-service experience that supports businesses in their drive toward omnichannel efficiency and 24/7 customer service.

Fiscalization as a strategic enabler

On the main stage, our colleague Sandra Batur delivered an impactful talk:
“Bridging the gap: transitioning from/to traditional commerce to eCommerce with fiscalization as a cornerstone.”

She emphasized that fiscalization is not just a legal requirement—but a strategic foundation for sustainable digital growth. As Bosnia and Herzegovina prepares for its new fiscalization law, businesses are rethinking how they can use eFiscal solutions to unlock new market opportunities while ensuring transparency and compliance.

Sandra’s message resonated across the event, sparking dialogue on the role of fiscal tech in enabling growth and innovation across the commerce ecosystem.

Emerging trends and insights

Several important trends emerged throughout the day:

  • Omnichannel is no longer a buzzword—it's a necessity
Retailers are actively looking for solutions that unify customer experiences across touchpoints.
  • AI is reshaping personalization
From dynamic product recommendations to behavioral insights, artificial intelligence is being implemented to anticipate user needs more effectively.
  • Logistics and UX are becoming strategic battlegrounds
Speed, transparency, and ease of returns are top concerns for digital shoppers.
  • Card payments and trust in local eCommerce are rising
According to research showcased, online card payments have jumped from 30% to 45% in just two years.
  • The digital transformation of the region is accelerating
Innovation is no longer optional—it’s the standard for survival and growth.

A space for great conversations

In addition to tech and trends, the event offered meaningful networking and high-quality dialogue. We were thrilled by the steady interest in our solutions and by how well our vision aligned with the broader industry challenges discussed—particularly in areas like digitalization, automation, and regulation.

As momentum around fiscal policy reform builds, eFiscalization is becoming a top priority for many businesses. Our colleague Sandra Batur discussed this topic further in an interview supported by Womancomm.club, where she sheld light into the upcoming legislation and how will affect the digital commerce landscape in BiH.
