During the COVID-19 crisis, we support our communities and employees through a series of social actions and internal programs. Since day one we have been monitoring the latest developments and based on those we have been acting with an absolute sense of responsibility and empathy.

Early on we were able to adjust our operations and set in motion our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) which, among others, included working from home for everyone whose role could support it. More specifically, by extending our FlexWork program and keeping our field engineers on a home-based standby, we were able to have 90% of our workforce working remotely. This way, we managed to protect the health and well-being of our people while supporting our customers and ensuring the availability of critical service points such as ATMs and EFT-POS, enabling our communities to have access to cash and card payments around the clock.

The successful implementation of our plan has been confirmed by an internal survey where 9 in 10 employees stated that they were satisfied or very satisfied by the way the company handled the crisis.

At the same time, we launched a new pilot partnership with LinkedIn Learning, one of the largest educational platforms in the world, offering to a great number of our people access to more than 10,000 online courses to further develop their soft skills and business knowledge. Investing in the development of our people and helping them cope with the increased demands of the post-crisis era is our priority.

As a socially responsible company and through our "We Care" program, we regularly carry out activities that focus on social and environmental issues across all the countries in which we operate. During this global health crisis, once again we stood by our communities through various activities.

In Greece, we supported the initiative of the Ministry of Education to make technology available to all students and teachers to continue their home-based education by donating 350 tablets, distributed to more than 100 schools. In this way, we contribute to the coordinated national efforts facilitating the work of teachers and students, ensuring that they have the tools in place to seamlessly continue their education. At the same time, we help students to further develop their digital skills, which will be extremely useful to them in the future.

In the rest of our countries, our employees are supporting vulnerable social groups with a variety of activities, such as helping the elderly by purchasing and delivering supplies to their home and donating essential goods to childcare organizations.

By strengthening our communities, taking all proactive measures to protect the well-being of our people, providing the necessary tools to help them develop their skills and ensuring business continuity, we are proud to prove one more time that our employees, our customers and the society are the top priority for Printec.
